The Webb Institute

Dr. Evelyn Webb, a brilliant doctor and geneticist, founded the Webb Institute with the goal of advancing cancer detection and research. Her staff worked tirelessly to care for and learn from their patients. This all changed when a strange substance was found under the floorboards of the former Carriage House. It began to infect doctors and patients alike with a disease medical science could not explain. Over time, they began to shift and mutate. Growths covered their bodies, skin sloughed off, and bone reformed into distorted, inhuman anatomy. The most violent patients came to be stored in the basement, no longer a hospital but a prison.

The doors of the Institute have been locked tight for years, but rumor has it that Dr. Webb has begun accepting new paitents.
